Published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1978. Signed and inscribed by the author William Hjortsberg, director John Frankenheimer, producer Robert Evans, and production designer Richard Sylbert. John Frankenheimer, Robert Evans, and Richard Sylbert were initially slated to work on the film adaption of Falling Angel when Paramount first acquired the rights. None of them wound up working on the film, however they were part of Falling Angel's course towards the feature adaptation, Angel Heart, starring Mickey Rourke and Robert De Niro. Hardcover in jacket, price intact on jacket flap. Text is clean and unmarked, slight foxing to page edges. Front hinge at title page is slightly weak, rest of binding strong. Light edge wear to boards and jacket. Presents well in fresh Mylar. Very good condition. Rare and unique edition. Additional photos available upon request.
