Boston: Little Brown, 1968. Book. Fine. Cloth. Second printing. Very thick octavo with dark green cloth spine over lime green cloth covered boards. 968 pages with massive (hundreds of pages) index. This is a Dictionary of Quotations using the same organizational method as the famous Bartlett's Familiar Quotations where the entries are arranged alphabetically by subject but you can also look up a keyword or name in the index to find your quotation. This is a beautiful volume with a remarkably fresh crisp, bright, unblemished heavy dust jacket whose matte surface is astonishingly fresh and unsoiled given this type of jacke and age of the book. The book itself is also crisp, clean, bright, very tight, very fresh white pages. there is the tiniest 2 line gift inscription at the corner of the free front endpaper and there are a handful of equally tiny marks at a few entries but the overall condition of this book is like new. Fine in near fine dust jacket. UNCOMMON..
