New York: Stein & Day. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. [1978]. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. 0812824369 . Black quarter cloth with brown paper over boards. Gilt lettering on spine and front. There is a very light bump on lower back corner and a tiny dent on upper edge of front board, else fine. DJ has wear at head and tail of spine, a short closed tear at top edge of front, and a longer tear associated with a triangular chip at top of back. The DJ is price clipped. Now in Brodart archival sleeve. Inscribed "For zyg: Good Reading! John" Zyg is Zygmunt Nagorski, a Polish national who served with the French and then the British in WWII, emigrated to the US as a journalist, became a citizen and had a career in the Foreign service. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 262 pages; Signed by Author .
