About This Item
Norfolk, CT: New Directions, 1954. 64 pages. First printing of the first edition of this collection of prose poems by the 20th century American poet whose work has been favorably compared to that of Walt Whitman and William Blake. The book is clean and tight, with foxing on first and last few pages, that is, as usual, a little heavier on the back of the frontispiece and the facing page with list of previous titles. Just lightly bumped at corners and top of spine. And the dust jacket is by far the nicest we have ever seen--no flaws at all.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Collectible- Fine-/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
