Boards somewhat worn and rubbed with some fading on spine and wear to edges. Some foxing to first and last couple of pages as well as outer edge of text block. Clean, tight text block. A lovely copy of a scarce first edition. very good David Herbert Richards Lawrence (11 September 1885 Ñ 2 March 1930) was an English novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, literary critic and painter. His collected works represent an extended reflection upon the dehumanising effects of modernity and industrialisation. In them, Lawrence confronts issues relating to emotional health and vitality, spontaneity, and instinct. This is one of his non-fiction which addresses the subject of psychology. 1923
