The dust jacket is price-clipped and shows chipping to spine ends and a quarter-sized chip to the back panel. 84 pp. The author, Cecil Lewis Lewis (29 March 1898 to 27 January 1997), was a British fighter pilot, and member of the P.B.F.A. ROYAL AIR FORCE (RAF) who flew in World War I. He co-founded the British Broadcasting Company and enjoyed a long career as a writer. Signed and dated (in the year of publication) by the author. Photo-illustrated. Scarce signed. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good +/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
