Farnford; or, School Life Twenty Years Ago, "By the Author of 'The Merchant's Clerk'" [possibly Samuel Warren] Hardback, undated but circa 1895 (inscription from 1898 to front free endpaper), illustrated, published by Ward, Lock & Co., Limited, London, 224 pages.
Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 1/4" by 5" by 1/2". No dust jacket. Orange-brown cloth binding, with black lettering, orange and black pictorial detail and design to board and spine, gilt lettering to spine. Some marking and scuffing to binding but quite clean and colouring still vivid. Signs of wear, some rubbing at edges. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges gilt, some scuffing and marking but gilt still vivid. Some marking to endpapers and throughout, inscription to front free endpaper, but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
