Binding very slightly cocked, wrappers with modest wear and two very light vertical spine creases, very good or better. Review copy with the publisher's slip laid in, as well as a contemporary Danish newspaper review of the book. The Danish version of *The Color Purple* was reprinted several times in the 1980s, but this first edition seems to be very uncommon. *OCLC* locates a single copy, in Denmark's National Library of Education.
