Humorous story of a mid-20th century wedding in America, and the basis for the 1950 Vincent Minelli film starring Spencer Tracy, Elizabeth Taylor Burton and others. Remade in 1991 staring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
