Very good with crease to rear board, boards worn at corners, rubbing to joints. Ownership label and stamp to front endpapers, else clean internally. Collection of letters from Vahey, Catholic priest from Ridgeway, Wisconsin, in defense of "false charges and insulting language" against his Catholic faith from various Anglican Priests in the Midwest, mainly Iowa. "If my little work be instrumental in diffusing the light of true religion among non-Catholics, then, indeed I am well paid for my labor."
