Paperback / softback. New. Naturalist and surgeon Sir John Richardson (1787-1865) accompanied Sir John Franklin on his first two Arctic expeditions. Richardson collected specimens during the trips and produced this four-volume natural history work on his return. Volume 4, written by William Kirby, was first published in 1837 and is devoted to Canadian Arctic insect species.
