About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1941. Reprinted 1947 . Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a former owner's signature on the front free end paper, but no marks and only a few signs of previous use. The light blue cloth covers are fresh, with just a bit of wear at tips and the top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket, unfortunately, is in Poor condition, with general edgewear and handling as well as large nicks of missing paper. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition, and additional scans are available on request. Synopsis: Inspector Dan Pardoe and Sergeant alt investigate a village murder, with the help of Miss Emma Betony, spinster of that parish.
