Here is the story of one day inthe lifeof a young peasant girl who lived in Domremy, France in 1425. The day during which this story takes place is precious to the girl because it is her feast day, the day on which she becomes twelve years old. She has gone to mass, received a beautiful present and is minding her family's sheep with something quite extraordinary takes place. The girl of this story is Joan of Arc and it is on her feast day that she first hears the voices that were to entirely change both her life and the course of history. Beautifully illustrated, this book is a wonderful read. 91 pages; the binding has light wear at the spine ends. It is half-cloth and pictorial. The jacket has a 1" tear in the front, small tears at the top spine, and a chip at the spine bottom. There is a small discoloration whre a small price stamp was placed on the front. The spine is sunned and there is light rubbing front and back. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. .
