First edition; states published by the Viking Press in April, 1951. Signed to the half title page by Palazzo. PO gift inscription to page opposite half title page. Few minor spots and a scrape to prelims. The squirrel at the rear has been cut out, laid in, and taped. The board corners are bumped/frayed. The DJ in mylar is in fair condition, with taped tears and losses. ; quarto; Signed by Author .
