Personal account of walks in the English Lake District in springtime in the early 20th century, with details of the geology and rural life of the area, from a private collection. 233pp with 8 black and white illustrations. Gilt lettering to top board and spine, top edges gilt, rest untrimmed. Slight forward lean to spine, slight bumping to spine and corners, some foxing to edges and endpapers and former owner's label to front endpaper, otherwise good copy..

James MacLehose, 1911. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1911. No Edition Stated. 233 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with black lettering. B&W photographs throughout. Mild staining and finger smudging to pages on occasion. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges cracked with netting visible, thus the boards are slack. Some gutter cracking. Stamps to front endpapers. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with crushing to spine ends. Notable tanning to spine, with scuffing, staining and soiling to boards.
