Fellowship of the ring first us print 1954 Tolkien extremely good condition

True first state jacket. With d cut off on frodo etc. Book also first state with date 1954 in two places on first two pages and no other statement off later printing. No bad smell on book. Minor closed tear and shelf rubbing on front of jacket. tear on front of jacket.Both the book and the jacket is extremely well-preserved. The jacket has some very small rubbing. Some minor darkening in places. It has a small dust-stain on lower left on back of jacket. the spine of jacket looks a little bit tanned as in having a bit lighter colours. The jacket also has the white spots on front but all fellowship us editions i have seen have this so i wonder if it might be from the production? It has some small loss on lower part of spine. And some very small loss in places. There are a few small closed tears high up on the back as seen. These are small though. The book is in excellent condition. All the pages are fresh without damage and map intact in great condition. Very small white stain on back-board. The two corners closest to the book fore-edge have very small creases. The book also has a stain on upper-side of of pages looked from outside the book. The first print of the first us edition of Fellowship of the ring. In absolutely stunning condition.
