Paris: Les Editions Marcel Pagnol, 1938. 148pp,. With seven leaves of photographs. Original publisher's brown card wrappers, lettered in red and black. Wrappers stained and marked, the lower detached, spine and edges chipped. Presentation inscription to FFEP: 'au plus grand acteur vivant, a Sir Lawrence Olivier [sic], avec mon admiration et mon amitie, MarcelPagnol, Juin 1960'. The first edition, to accompany the 1938 French drama film directed by Pagnol starring Raimu and Ginette Leclerc. . First photoplay edition. 8vo.
