A novel in which romance, the thrills of a lost treasure and the trials of life in a country mansion are shared by the penniless Ffrails and their foreign guests. Some spotting to all edges; signature of previous owner to title-page; d/w has a few short edge tears (longest 29mm); else a very good plus copy, in a very good d/w, of an UNCOMMON hardback first edition in d/w. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf.. First edition, First Printing. Hardback. Very Good Plus/Very Good.
