Crown Publishers, Inc., 1953. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 312 pages, with index, appendix and bibliography on various aspects of folklore and folk arts. Illustrated with b&w photos on 16 double-sided plates. The author visited Italy and travelled around the country in the early 1950s. Medium 8vo (9-1/4" x 6-1/8"), faded orangish cloth with spine especially sunned, black lettering on spine, corners/crown/heel frayed, pages age-toned, a couple of pages accidentally creased at bottom corner. Name of former owner, booksale price, other notes in pencil on ffep, a few small marks in margins of some pages in the Sicily section.

Shipping charge may be reduced on some books weighing less than 1 lb to U.S. addresses. International Priority shipping charges may be reduced on books that fit in a USPS small flat-rate box. International Standard (First-Class Package International) shipping charges may be reduced for a second or more books if the total package weight does not exceed 2 lb.
