Boston, Massachusetts: Avenue Victor Hugo Publishers, 1972. First Edition. Magazine. Fine. Quarto, 8 1/2 x 11" magazine, 40 pages, wire saddle stitched, stiff wraps. A fine, clean, unread copy, with minimal shelf wear but some marginal rubbing from prolonged storage, binding tight, paper white. (NOTE: the first four issues of FICTION were produced as an amateur publication by an unpaid staff of two as a means of learning how to produce a professional publication at a time ''internships' on any literary publication outside of college were hard to come by and there were very few literary magazines interested in "storytelling" at all).
