The story of an ancient maple tree that eventually became the center of a violin culture. Otis Omas is not only a violin maker and fiddle player but he has provided beautiful color pictures of the workshop, the students with their instruments, and the musical themes that they have interpreted. A CD in the back of their work is included. Bound in gray paper covered boards backed in black cloth, spine lettering gilt. A fine bright copy in near fine pictorial dust jacket.
