Hardcover first edition, with dust jacket, published by Castle Books, 1981. The dust jacket is intact and is nor price clipped. It has been protected by a clear, library quality, removable cover, so there is no edge wear, no rips or tears. 208 pages, sturdy stiff red colored textured boards with sewn binding. Included are the stories, plays and poems written by Doyle that had not been collected in other volumes previously, edited by Peter Haining. . This copy would appear to be an unread, unused copy. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The binding is tight and square. No edge wear to the boards, no fading or rubbing to the title and author's name imprinted in black on the spine. The boards are flat, the corners are not bumped, no edge wear to the cover boards.
