Concord New Hampshire: Carroll & Baker, 1844 1/2 leather and marbled paper hardboards, gilt titles. Good condition, FC quite loose (nearly disbound) generally worn covers, contents are VG to NF. Keene public library plate affixed to the verso of the FC and stamped 'WITHDRAWN’. More to the point are the 7 tinted and 1 color litho page Plates interspersed in NF to Fine condition, 2 more large folding Plates and the large Map of NH (18" x 30") all collated and VG to NF to (Some Fine) condition. Occasional smudging to a few of the page edges. A wonderful selection of rare views in New Hampshire from the mid-1800's. Several in the Franconia Notch area are quite spectacular. Our second example of this rare Geology tome with all the original Plates. 1 of just 600 copies printed.
