About This Item

Scottsdale, Arizona: Another Rainbow Publishing, Inc., 1981. First Edition. This issue was limited to 1875 numbered copies, signed by Barks. This copy is numbered as a publisher’s proof, noting it as “Not For Sale.” Presentation copy; inscribed by Barks, “To Floyd Gottfredson who taught us all how comics should be written and drawn. Carl Barks.” An excellent association: the recipient drew the Mickey Mouse comic strips and Barks drew Donald Duck and created Scrooge McDuck. This is about as close as one can get to Donald Duck inscribing a book to Mickey Mouse.
