Oneonta, N. Y.: Self-published, 1957. This book has a blue hard cover with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Front cover features the author's facsimile signature. Some light soil to spine, edges; gilt somewhat dulled. Front endpaper bears the following inscription: "To Della Gonser and daughter Bernie -- my two cherished friends -- 1957 -- Katharine Hawley Farley." A few pen notes here and there within, but otherwise this book is clean on the inside. No date of publication given, but presumed to be 1956-57 or thereabouts. This is a privately printed history of the First Baptist Church of Oneonta, New York, the publication of which was sponsored by the church's Farley Philathea Class. The foreword, written by two members of that class, features a black-and-white photo of the author. A few relevant newspaper clippings by local historian Ed Moore are tucked between pages 70 and 71; some browning as a result. 107 pages; approx. 6"x9". Book is in good condition with one line of writing on each innerboard, pages 70-71 are toned from the clipping, wear, and soil.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by None.
