US: The Salem Press, 1873. Hardback. Very Good -. Brown leather over boards with gilt particulars to spine. Frontispiece is clean and intact with tissue guard; shadow of frontispiece to tissue guard. Scattered soiling and foxing throughout; tanning to edges of pages; plates attached and intact with tissue guards. All edges sprayed red; text block is soiled particularly to top edge; endpages soiled and foxed. Boards are scuffed and rubbed with sunning to spine; rubbing to edges, corners and ends of spine; fraying to ends of spine. Binding is tight; boards bow slightly inward.
