Signed by author on title page; laid-in ephemera of program and ticket from "An Evening with Tony Hillerman" at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, TX on December 9, 2004. Hardcover and original unclipped dust jacket protected by archival Mylar cover.
Synopsis
The First Eagle is a 1998 Tony Hillerman novel involving eagle poaching, the plague, a missing biologist, and a homicide of a police officer. It features the characters Joe Leaphorn, Jim Chee, "Cowboy" Dashee, Robert Jano, Janet Pete, Louisa Bourbonette, and Catherine Pollard.
