London: Constable and Co. Ltd., 1925. first edition. hardcover. Very good. Illustrated with color frontis. of Napoleon (from a miniature by Isabey) and with other illustrations in black and white. Octavo, bound in full scarlet leather by Sangorski and Sutcliffe with gilt titles and decorations, all edges gilt. Spine somewhat darkened, joints tender; former owner bookplate on a preliminary blank. In a marbled slipcase (matching endpapers of the book) somewhat age darkened.
