Illustrated dust jacket, in mylar cover. The background, proceedings, and implications of the trial of Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1587), for complicity in the murder of her second husband, Lord Darnley, by her third husband, the Early of Bothwell. Book is in Very Good- Condition: discoloration and two words in ink on front endpapers; otherwise, clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Good Condition: rubbed and creased; minor loss at ends of spine; several closed tears from edges of 2 cm. or less.
