'The Fishermen' is a novel about four brothers, who begin to finish near their home in a quiet neighbourhood in the city of Akure in Nigeria, though the river is polluted and they have been forbidden to fish there. Written by Chigozie Obioma, a Nigerian author who is best known for this novel and for his novel 'An Orchestra of Minorities'.
