Amwell Press, National Sporting Fraternity Limited. 1974. #137/1000. 1st ed and one of the very first Amwell Press titles. This is one of the transitional titles Jim Rikhoff took with him from Winchester Press when he started the National Sporting fraternity Limited and then Amwell Press. A sleeper for collectors of Amwell Press books, as this usually gets listed as Winchester Press. Spine has neither Amwell nor Winchester, but rather the N.S.F.L. logo. The book itself is well worth having too, as Spiller is a great story teller. In here he hunts big game and fishes for trout and salmon in New England and eastern Canada. Artwork by Milton C. Weiler, Foreword by H. G., Tap, Tapply. Bound in green leather with gold gilt, SIGNED by Jim Rikhoff and numbered. Previous owner bookplate inside front cover, else as new, very fine in like slipcase. ISBN: 0876911289 .
