About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1957. First edition, first printing. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in London, 1957. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper, illustrated by Eileen Soper, has some slight wear at the corners and some light creasing also present. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 7s 6d net price. The boards are fine and without wear, aside from typical bumping and a touch of chipping to the spine tips. The text blocks are bright and white throughout. The internals are also clean, though there is a small band of toning to the front fly leaf. Overall, this is a very good copy. The sixteenth adventure of The Famous Five.
