Gilt lettered title on front cover. All edges gilt. Rebacked, with original spine laid on. Photographed by CLAFLIN, [Charles Ripley Burnett] and James Russell Black, photographers. An early photographic book. Worcester's most famous son, Thomas Wentworth Higginson, appears on page 36.
