Spine is slightly rubbed, with small spot of discoloration on lower spine, one corner is slightly bumped, else a near fine, bright copy in custom cloth chemise and quarter-morocco slipcase. Author's first book. Laid in is a receipt from New York bookseller House of Books dated in 1944, charging $55 for this copy.
