Berkeley, CA: National Committee to Overturn the Bakke Decision, Bay Area, 1979. Pamphlet. Five different six- or eight-panel brochures, all in very good condition, various formats. Includes two different versions of "Overturn the Weber Case: unite against racism and the oppression of women," "Bakke Decision hits Bay Area" (with list of labor and education venues that could be impacted), "Don't wait for 'Justice,' prepare for the Bakke Decision now," and "Fight racism - Overturn the Bakke Decision!" Also included is a folded issue of the six-page NCOBD Bulletin, vol. 1 no. 3 (Nov. 16, 1977). On the case of United Steelworkers vs. Weber, the landmark affirmative action lawsuit heard by the Supreme Court.
