The Liberal Arts Press, 1950. Soft cover. Very Good. 90 pages, with Selected Bibliography. Introduction by Stuart M. Brown, Jr. First published 1726 (these are five of 15 sermons published together), a decade before Butler became Clerk of the Closet to Queen Caroline and, later, Bishop of Durham. The topics are "Human Nature" and "Love of Our Neighbor". 5-3/8" x 8" pamphlet in gray stapled card wraps, discolored to brown around edges, smudge to upper right of front cover; edges age-toned, page margins barely so. Name of former owner written on ffep, pages unmarked.
