London: Printed for Thomas Griffiths, 1830. Book. Illus. by William Clark. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo (15 x 24cm). Pp. iv, unpaginated. 60 highly attractive hand-coloured plates, some heightened with gum arabic, the plates numbered 1 - 60. Full leather binding which has been rebacked retaining the original decorative boards, spine with gilt decoration and title label. Bindings good and strong. Contents clean and tight, original yellow coated endpapers, fine armorial bookplate and inscription belonging to Lord Templetown, light spotting to first and last few pages, plates are unmarked with just a few with the odd spot; plates extremely bright and fresh; plate 40 and 52 have had a professional repair to the top edges using Japanese tissue. A very good copy with fine plates..
