[HORTICULTURE / GARDENING] [NON-FICTION]. 8vo; iv [ii], 304pp; ribbed brown cloth over board, gilt-stamped title and date on spine; ownership in neat ink to ffep; decorated half title with owner's name; 14 hand-colored engraved plates; untrimmed edges; lightly bumped corners, sunned spine, light foxing to eps and half-title, some offsetting of plates to opposite page; very good plus. Twelve issues of the periodical from January through December bound together. Detailed articles on plants and the science of horticulture are accompanied by 14 beautiful hand-colored plates.
