Roy. 8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece, 7 plates and numerous illustrations and diagrams in the text, some mild offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; green patterned boards, upper board with printed paper label, green cloth back lettered in black, green endpapers, age-mark on front paste-down else a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter mildly browned on backstrip and rear panel. With the engraved armorial bookplate of Lionel Edward Sheppard on front free endpaper. Hampton p.235.
