Glendale, CA: The Arthur H. Clark Company, 1938. 429 pages. Top edges gilded, and others remain untrimmed. First author's presentation inscription on front free end leaf reads in full: "For Paul H. Gantt, / fellow student of / Western history. / Cordially, L. R. Hafen." Also laid in is a typed letter signed by Hafen on the State historical Society of Colorado letterhead addressed to the same person. Very slight age and use, though overall a tight and very clean copy. . Signed by the First Author. First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Very Good+/No Dust Jacket.
