First printing, very good + hardcover shows toning to covers, light foxing at endpapers, name at top of front endpaper and some other light trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows rubbing spotting particularly at top edge of front panel, hint of toning along spine, tocuh of soil and edgewear that includes tiny chips and tears. 369 pages with index. Still a pleasing copy of this work that tells the story of "..the crossing of the Appalachian mountain barrier..." and much, much more.
