McDevitt-Wilson's, Inc, 1900. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. This old children's book is clean, solid and in great shape! The book is undated but is circa 1900. Verse and full-page, full-color illustration of 24 professions. Most are timeless (builder, farmer, carpenter) while others have evolved or obtained new names (clockwinder, bird stuffer, the Dame). Dark blue cloth with illustrated front cover paste-on with title, 52 pages, 24 full-page illustrations, illustrated title and contents pages. This is a hardcover book awesome color illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or writing. There is a dog eared fold mark at the very bottom corner of a few pages. The covers and front paste on illustration are in nice shape with just a hint of edgewear. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
