Large 8vo HB. pp; prelims, 165, 160, 169. Folding table to 2nd series. Printed in double column. Edges tinted, with top edge discoloured. Very Good text-block in a Near-Fine rebind in brown cloth, lettered gilt to spine. Royal Naval provenance with an 1884-dated inscription to the retained original ffep to a Lieut. Langdon based at HMS Malabar in Bermuda. This is presumably Frederick Gilbert Charles Langdon, commissioned Lt. 1877, Commander, 1892, Captain (Retd), 1907. Captain (in chronological order) of HMS Bramble, HMS Assaye, HMS Gossamer, HMS Jason, and HMS Black Prince. May require additional shipping costs, depending on destination.
