Hardback, 1917, illustrated, published by Hodder and Stoughton, London, 176 pages + viii.
Octavo/8vo. Measures around 8 3/4" by 5 3/4" by 1 1/8". Tan cloth binding, black lettering, edging and lilac decoration to front board; black lettering to spine. Discolouration to spine and to some degree on boards. Scuffing, marking and staining, particularly to edges of boards. Signs of shelf-wear, bumped and torn corners. Binding holding, reasonably firm on outside, but some strain and cracking in parts of textblock, including towards front inner hinge and loose plate between pages 66 and 67. Page edges a little deckled; some browning and scuffing. Some foxing to preliminaries and hindmost pages, occasional marking throughout page surfaces but generally clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
