London: A. Hall, Virtue & Co, 1850. Half-Leather. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. George Cruikshank. Leather binding with marbled covers, maroon leather title label. Rubbing and some wear to the leather, the outer hinges are in good order, but the inner hinges have weakened and only held by the strings-still secured- but handle with a little care. The text is complete, browning to the frontispiece and engraved title, some plates are browned, some others are fairly bright (about half of the plates with light to moderate marking and the other half with heavier browning), small stain to the bottom of edge of 3 plates at the end. Dimensions; 225 by 150mm. Pages; (4), XII, (2), 496. With 30 sheets of plates by George Cruikshank including the engraved title and frontispiece.
