Text clean and unmarked except for usual library treatments. Pages slightly toned. Top edges gilt. Volume I in medium brown cloth, Volume II in dark brown cloth, with identical gilt illustration of Franklin at front, lettered in gilt at spine. Boards lightly scuffed, corners rubbed and bumped, spine tops and tails starting to fray, Volume II with insect damage at top third of front joint. Hinges slightly mobile, but holding, textblocks firm.
