First Edition; Demy 8vo; pp. [vi], 293; top of half title page has been repaired without loss of text, bound in modern quarter green morocco with green cloth boards, title lettered in gilt on spine, uncut, good copy. William Kenrick (1725-1779) was an English novelist, playwright and satirist, who spent much of his career libeling and lampooning his fellow writers.
