About This Item
Charles Clement, London, 1824. First Edition. Hardcover (Half Leather). Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. A new endpaper (cut within the frames of the original endpapers) has been pasted down over the original endpapers, obviously to strengthen the inside front hinge binding. This would appear (by paper age) to have occurred sometime in the late 19th or early 20th century. The pastedown is firm and secure, and there is no showthrough of glue marks on the rear of the free endpaper (flyleaf). Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Endpapers browned, text has scattered foxing, but mostly clean. Previous owner's signature in ink. Edges foxed and browned. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilogram. Category: Antiquarian & Rare; France; 19th century; French Language; Language & Linguistics. All our pictures shown here are of the actual item, not stock photos. Inventory No: 14266. .
