Paris: Librairie Des Bibliophiles. Good with no dust jacket. 1878. Hardcover. Vi + 160 pps. In French, Dark green/blue marble boards with brown leather spine and gold gilt lettering, 5 raised bands. Corners and spine tips a little rubbed. Interior marbled end papers have a golden small bookplate of Henri Bachimont Bresles (the French composer) with the early bookplate of Lt. Col. De Guinzbourg, the spy and noted proverb collector. Bresles' bookplate has made a white ghost on Guinzbroug's plate. Red and black title page, paper is toned and a bit crisp, green silk page marker has left a small stain, otherwise clean and unmarked. A nice provenance. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 160 pages .
