Contains articles by authors other than Cecil Hooper and the many chapters cover diverse matters pertinent to the growing and marketing of fruit including on the history and origin of various fruits commercially grown as well as their cultivation etc. The chapters on the control of pests and diseases by chemical sprays are obviously now outdated but other established practices remain of use and a charming feature are the many period adverts.Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition.
